Please join EJA as we hold our 2nd Annual Poker Run.
8-9AM: Registration
8-9AM: Air Down
9-4PM: Driver Meeting/Guided Ride
4-5PM: Card Turn In
5:30PM: Winners Announced
Details:
$25 Per Hand Buy-in: Drivers and Passengers can play and can play multiple hands.
$5 per Card Trade: Players can exercise unlimited trades.
$15 EJA Playing Card decks: Limited Quantity/Available to order.
Guides will distribute playing cards throughout the day, on the trails. Each card is to remain in its sealed envelope until the end of the day. All envelopes will be opened in the presence of the EJA Poker Run Team to verify and record the hands. Winning hands of the day are the BEST and WORST hands.
This is a ticketed event- you may sign up early! You will be able to purchase hands the day of the event as well. We recommend that you sign up for your group and purchase your hands in advance to avoid waiting in line.
Winners must be present at the end of the day to win.
Members who do not wish to participate are still able to attend and wheel.
Winning Pot is determined by the number of participants.
Poker Run fee is not inclusive of AOAA park fees- please go to the office and pay your daily/passenger fees in advance of the start of the ride.
Plan to meet at the pavilion in the grassy area around 8am. Air down, disconnect and have waivers completed by 9am.
Everyone must sign the waiver and pay the facility fee.
Please come prepare to eat/snack out on the trails; we do not return to the parking lot for lunch.
Please arrive at the facility with a full tank of gas and have basic recovery gear.
Participation in this event is solely at your own risk; you agree to release Evolution Jeep Alliance from any and all liability.
Evolution Jeep Alliance practices Tread Lightly principles and expects all members to do the same. Failure to follow Tread Lightly principles is grounds for removal from all future events.
